Counseling in the Context of Health and Social Care

The aim of the bachelor 's thesis was to find out how social counseling is provided in the context of health and social care in medical facilities. The theoretical part of the thesis introduced the basic characteristics of social counseling. In the practical part, research questions were set. To achieve the set goal of the bachelor's thesis, a qualitative research strategy was chosen using the method of questioning and the technique of semi-structured interview. The research group consisted of health and social workers who worked in hospitals in the South Bohemian Region at the time of the research. The semi-structured interviews were recorded in audio form with the consent of the informants and subsequently transcribed. Data analysis was performed by open coding method. The bachelor thesis deals with individual aspects of providing social counseling and introduces the actual state of implementation of social counseling in hospitals from the perspective of health and social workers. The research showed that health and social workers in hospitals provide social counseling mainly to hospitalized clients and their family members, whom they help to solve the current social situation. Social counseling is mainly focused on providing post-hospitalization care. It usually takes place at the patient's bedside or in the office of the health and social workers. The research revealed problems with insufficiently secured privacy in the provision of social counseling to bedridden people, the need to educate the public in the field of social services and also draws attention to the appropriateness of increasing the safety of health and social workers. It will be possible to use the bachelor's thesis as a source of information on the method of providing social counseling in health care facilities in the South Bohemian Region. It will also serve as feedback for individual medical facilities in which the research was conducted.

Early care services for children with cerebral palsy

Bachleor thesis deals with the theme of current view on the provision of early care services for families of children with cerebral palsy. The research describes the future development and perspective of providing early care services. One of the main purpose of the research is finding out the level of providing informations about early care services to families and main positives and negatives of services from the perspective of parents and consultant of early care services. Describing the possible expansion of early care services with experts or non-profit organizations was also one of the main purpuses of the research.

Contractual relations between a consulting company and its client

Thesis: Contractual relations of consulting firm and client Author: Karolína Brosková The purpose of my thesis is to analyse the contractual relations between consulting firm and its client. The reason for my research is an increasing amount of consulting firms arising in Czech business enviroment as well as non-existence of precise and explicit regulation of these relations in Czech legal system. The thesis is composed of two main chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of management consulting. Chapter One is subdivided into three parts. Part One is introductory and defines basic terminology of management consulting, its history and typology. Part Two deals with subjects of contractual relations between consulting firm and client. Finally part Three explains when these relations will be regulated by Czech commercial contract law. Chapter Two examines relevant Czech legislation in combination with practical examples from valid agreements. The chapter consists of two parts. Part One focuses on particularities of Czech contract law. Part Two investigates what should be included in consulting agreement. Kids and youth crisis handling using telephone counseling and intervention

Thesis is dealing with children and youth crisis counseling through telephone intervention. It is focusing in crisis problematic, including crisis reasons and progress. In paper are summarized main aspects of telephone crisis intervention. Further are focused main principles and structure of counseling interview and declares reasons why do children contact safety lines. Paper includes ethical dilemma issues bound to safety line workers. Finally is described flow of interview with child in difficult life circumstance.
